Now on Walmart!

Walmart and Kobo have joined forces to make ebook and audiobooks available! Kobo has been offering ebooks to primarily Canada and others outside the US for years. I've got a few links below, but I thought it might be easier to give you quick references based on what I could find.

Walmarts announcement: https://news.walmart.com/2018/08/22/walmart-and-kobo-launch-walmart-ebooks-including-an-audiobook-subscription-for-999

Want to know how it works? What device or app you need? Sign-up offers? : https://www.walmart.com/cp/5632020

How to begin:

Only the audiobooks require a subscription, which is $9.99. More on Audiobooks here: https://www.walmart.com/ideas/choosing-devices/listen-audiobooks-walmart-ebooks/235818?povid=5632020+%7C+2018-08-15+%7C+MosaicTile3

Looking for special launch deals on both ebooks and audio? https://www.kobo.com/us/en/p/launchdeals

What this means is that readers continue to have expanded options on where they can buy their books. Kobo often runs specials, so they're worth checking out.

Because it's all new, there might be some kinks, and I'm sure as time goes by, Walmart will make the ebook landing page even easier to navigate and find info. If you have questions, you'll need to contact them or dig further in the FAQ, but it looks pretty easy peasy. I can't provide any tech support or customer service as this is just an announcement, and I am but only a messenger.

Happy reading!
