After two years in e-book format, Closer is finally available in paperback. Initially I opted out of paperbacks because I wasn't sure if there was an audience for novellas in print. I've decided that it wouldn't be fair to readers who only buy in paperback, or for fans who want to own all the print versions of my titles (I love you guys).
So I spent some time preparing the book, and I also had to carve out time to do the cover. I have to say I'm really in love with how it turned out. It's the same size as my other books, and I had some fun with chapter header designs.
Closer is a stand-alone novella that focuses on two Sensors who are connected by fate. This is an unconventional love story that takes place in an unusual location, therefore it doesn't rely heavily on action sequences or other outside drama to carry the story. It follows Kane, who is Sunny's brother. So we get to know a little about the man that is briefly mentioned in the Mageri series. I'd highly recommend reading this before finishing the Mageri series, and it can be read anywhere in the Mageri timeline, but I think it'll make that series conclusion more eyebrow raising.
