Seven Years is no longer on sale, but what an amazing run it had.
Seven Years managed to rocket on to the Amazon Top 100 up to #22, and hit #2 on all of Barnes & Noble. Then Six Months followed close behind on Barnes and Noble where it's now in the Top 100. When that happened, I pretty much went into shock. Do you realize how impossible that feat is? Especially with fantasy books.
Yeah, so this is one of those times I need someone to pinch me. I'm ever-grateful to see our family expanding, where new readers will step into the Breed world.
If you check out the link at the top of this web page that says DANNIKA DARK BOOKS, you'll find updated links with the pre-orders for Mageri on audio! And I thought Logan was the only one who could give me butterflies. ;-)
Nothing else worth mentioning. I've been working on a few small projects around my place, as well as watching every episode of Vikings there is. Have I mentioned I love this show? It pre-dates the Middle Ages, but it sure sets my imagination off as to what early life must have been like for Justus.
You may or may not know I did research on all my immortals to estimate when they were born. I even looked up Simon's surname on a census from England to make sure that name was in use during the time period he lived, and prior to. I did the same with Justus's first and last name. I even looked up a war that look place mentioned in one of the books. Funny how you can spend two hours researching something that is only a mere mention in a book.
