While taking a writing break, I designed a new bookmark. Those of you wondering how to snag one of these, you'll have to follow me on Facebook. I have frequent giveaways, and I also pass these off to bloggers for their contests.

I decided to add a border trim to this one because you never know where the trim will cut off, and I didn't want to risk her missing an eye. ;-)  I'd like to do maybe 1-2 more this summer, and perhaps one for my new series coming soon.

I've actually been working out in my fitness center each morning before I start my day, and it feels good to get back into an exercise regimen. I usually get ideas during that time, but writing and walking on the treadmill don't really go hand in hand.

Keep watching my sidebar on the blog to see the progress of how Mageri book 5 is coming along. My goal is to have the first draft done by the month's end, but it's a complex story, so it may go beyond that. Once the revision kicks in, it goes a lot faster. I'll have about three months to work on it before the beta read. The release is scheduled late 2013. By late I mean December. Seems far away, but it's a blink of an eye for me, and I keep wondering how I'm going to make that deadline.

But I will.

  1. I think this is my favorite bookmark, so far! You are so creative! I adore that about you :)

    1. Thanks, Nina. It won't have the white trim - that's just what my blog adds to the images. Hopefully they turn out nice :-)

  2. Oh, wow! This looks awesome! Great job, Dannika.
